We are keenly focused on shrinking our environmental footprint. We achieve this by avoiding inefficient transportation and distribution routes; using recycled wood pallets, recycled corrugated cardboard boxes & recycled newsprint packing paper; and recycling our metal scrap so it can be melted down and used for new material.
BENEFITS OF POWDER-COATING TECHNOLOGY
At Kalou, we offer powder-coating technology to finish metal components. While standard epoxy painting practices produce high levels of volatile organic compounds into the air, powder-coating contains no solvents and produces little-to-no VOCs. The powder itself uses less material to package and distribute compared to common liquid paints, and it can be retrieved and reused if over-sprayed. This technology also allows us the ability to match the finish you are looking for.
